The alt.arcade project is a collection of 3 modern-day, alternative arcade cabinets, designed and commissioned by us as a reaction against the tendency for even incredible games to be shown in drab, uninspiring ways physically. Each cab can display a range of work (from alt.ctrl to traditional controllers), and all 3 sport designs from different Scottish artists. The cabinets have appeared at EGX, Paradigm Electronic Arts Festival, and the London V&A, and have featured work by James Medd, Tatiana Vilela dos Santos and Gregory Kogos, amongst others.
